How does it work?
Unwire! is building the
first Pan Asian Broadband Wireless Access ( BWA ) operator using the IEEE 802.16e technology, better known as
WiMAX.. Unwire! owns 2.x and 3.x GHz nationwide frequencies and licenses in several countries of
South East and Central Asia.
Unwire! was founded in August, 2007 after securing its first license.
Starting Q4 2008 Unwire! will be operating first WiMAX networks in
its 3-launch markets : Malaysia , Indonesia and Laos where it is counting already more than 50,000 subscribers today.
